The Challenging Run

Pushing our way to the door.Trying to line up in a big long straight line. Stomping our way over to the cricket club. Mr Chittenden raised his voice. "Go and have a seat while you wait" centrys went by as we stay seated on the springy couch.

"9 year old boys and girls go and make your way over to the water trough" as Mr Chittenden bellowed. One foot in front of the other. Tension raced through my body. Glancing at my aquantince. I knew that is was going to me a challenging race. Setting a goal for my run. " On your marks get set go".

My heart was pounding as if I was a fish getting chased by a 4 foot long shark chasing me. I was a red strawberry. Feet pounding there was no stopping now. I was struggling to finish my race.

I was an oven that was cooking at 100 degrease. I was emagining that the grass was hot needle's poking my feet as i ran. As I started to sprint I saw a delicious white ice block in front of me. My feet were stinging with pain.
